The Volunteer of the Month for March is Eli Koffivi Amegan
Eli completed his Senior High school education at Don Boscos in Tema. He then went on to complete his university education at the University of Development Studies, pursuing a BSc Computer Science in 2016. He then completed a 1-year Diploma in Education at the University of Education, Winneba in 2019.
He is currently offering an MPhil in Computational Mathematics at the University of Development Studies, Navrongo campus.
Awards
Eli has two article publications. He co-authored a paper on detecting and correcting overflow in Residue Number System (RNS) architecture which was published in the American International Journal of Research in Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (AIJRSTEM). He also co-authored another paper on the Chinese Remainder Theorem Method for Detecting and Correcting Overflow in Residue Number System Addition in the International Journal of Emerging Technologies in Computational and Applied Sciences (IJETCAS)
Contribution
Eli pioneered and led the Kids and Math Navrongo chapter at Standard Preparatory School in Navrongo.
Passion
“I am a young man with a golden heart. I love to help others. I love mathematics. I think Kids and Math is a great platform that is going to help in sharing my knowledge in math with the younger ones.”
Future Prospects
Eli plans to open chapters in Wa in the Upper West Region soon.
