Educational Background

Reginald Essuman Bentum attended Nana Kwaku Boateng Junior High School in Koforidua. During his time at Nana Kwaku Boateng, he mostly represented the school at academic quizzes. He then proceeded to Ghana Senior High School, Koforidua, where he studied General Science and was also the General Secretary for the Red Cross Society with which he still has his General First Aid techniques Intact .

He had his university education at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and technology (KNUST). There, he studied Physics with Biomedical Option. Reginald also held the office of Organizing Secretary in the 2015/16 Academic year also at KNUST.

 

Passion and Impact

Reginald decided to join Kids & math and become the Vice President of the Koforidua Chapter because he believes mathematics provides opportunities for developing important and intellectual skills in problem solving, deductive and inductive reasoning, creative thinking and communication. Additionally, in learning mathematics, students have many opportunities to look for as Mathematics is a tool for our day to day activities.

 

Future Prospects

Reginald’s role in Kids and Math is inspired by Brad Henry’s Quote  “ A good teacher can Inspire, hope, Ignite the Imagination and Instill a love of Learning’. This could erase the notion of maths being difficult if we try to be good teachers. He looks forward To extending  Kids & Math beyond Ghana.
